Romanian Festival and Saint Joseph Marello

 

Saturday afternoon, September 26th, we drove a few miles over to Vernon Street Square in Roseville to take-in the 26th annual Romanian Festival.   Lots of cars were streaming in and out of the free parking garage near the square. We found a parking space, walked the half block to the festival, listened to the music and speeches for a while. 

Sacramento and Roseville are diverse.

Roseville -  Population about 165,000 and rapidly growing. A number of subdivisions southwest of us appear to be fairly new and more are sprouting up.

The Sacramento Metro Area population is about 2.5 million and growing.  

 

Sun City where we live, an established  55+ community  with an average resident age in the low seventies appears to be mostly white like PGI.

We have decided to make St Joseph Marello located in Granite Bay our church.  The music is great and the acoustics are such that Richard can understand almost every word.   

The rose garden is beautiful as is but is still actively under expansion!
